SKU : 12V6.1Kg-cm73RPM50-1GM
Out of stock
The 3260 is a 12 volt gear motor, generating 6.12 Kg-cm of torque at 73 RPM. While this motor is small and inexpensive, it is also aggressive- less efficient than the others, but very powerful for its size.
This family of motors (3258, 3259, 3260) have the same gearbox type and mounting metrics as the (3254, 3255, 3256, 3257) family of motors.

Motor Controller and Connection
The 3260 DC motor connects to either of the following controllers:
- 1064 - PhidgetMotorControl HC
- 1065 - PhidgetMotorControl 1-Motor
You'll need to solder wires to the contacts of the motor in order to connect it to a controller.
Warnings
The torque this motor produces when it stalls exceeds the rated strength of the gearbox. This means that stalling or very heavily loading this motor can cause serious damage to the gearbox. To avoid damage, avoid sudden loads or any load higher than the Maximum Strength of Gears spec.
